Request Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

What will be deleted

  • Your account and authentication details
  • Your profile information (name, avatar)
  • All train sightings you have logged
  • Your favourite stations list
  • Any usage data tied to your account

Important notes

  • Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • We will process your request within 30 days.
  • Some anonymised data may be retained for legal or security purposes where required by law.
  • If you signed in with Google, you can also revoke access in your Google Account settings.

How to request deletion

To verify your identity and protect your data, signed-in users can submit a request directly through the app. If you are not signed in, please email us using the button below.

Or manually email privacy@trainspotter.uk with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your account.
